The Great Decline - Pluto

Part of a book I'm currently writing that will serve as an introduction to the universe of The Great Decline.

Pluto is a dwarf planet located in the outer reaches of the solar system, marking the beginning of the Kuiper Belt. It is the last haven of peace and relative stability in the solar system. While the rest of humanity succumbed to panic, it was the only colony to stand strong during the collapse of the Sol Agency. Among the last worlds to be colonized during the Golden Age, Pluto has now become the heart of human civilization. A unique remaining witness to the glory that once shone across all the colonies of the solar system.
